COFUNDS

CoFunds has announced its new Online Dealing service, which will allow users to action switches and transfers online. Please call Allenbridge on 0800 33 99 99 on or after Friday 20 October to be assigned a username and password (after a short security check). Once you have your username and password you will be able to log on by CLICKING HERE or on the CoFunds logo on the left.

IMPORTANT
Clients that are already CoFunds users must please call Allenbridge for your usernames and passwords, and NOT REGISTER via the website, otherwise this will create a new account for you, and will not enable you to see valuations or perform switches online.


Cofunds offers a choice of over 800 funds run by the 51 fund management companies below.

The fund management companies with a ü in the "R" column are those who will allow you to re-register PEPs and ISAs with Cofunds. That means you simply move the PEP or ISA to Cofunds without having to sell the funds and then buy them back. The ü in the "T" column indicates those fund managers who allow cash transfers on an initial charge = initial commission basis. The below chart is merely a guide; certain funds within the fund managers should be queried with an Allenbridge advisor as to its specific attributes.

All the companies will allow re-registration of Unit Trusts and OEICs outside a PEP or ISA. We expect Cofunds to be making re-registration arrangements for many more companies in the forthcoming months.

Please note following important information about some of the fund managers listed above:
All fund groups can re-register direct fund holdings but the above groups additionally offer (where indicated) ISA/PEP re-registration
[1] The Close FTSE Techmark Funds is dealt on a cash only basis, so any ISA/PEP transfer is dealt by selling the units at bid price, and then repurchasing them at bid price.
[2] INVESCO Perpetual only accepts ISA/PEP re-registration for full transfers only, i.e. not partial.
[3] Legal & General funds are only available for re-registration where no initial commission was paid on the original investment.
[4] First State funds attract a £30 charge per fund
[5]

Rathbones allows cash transfer only at Bid to Creation
[6] For all F&C funds that were previously ISIS, re-registration and "initial charge=initial commission" are not available options.
