Frequently Asked Questions - about how to switch, top or sell my investment

I would like to switch funds held with my Plan Manager     If you wish to move from an existing fund to another fund held by the same Plan Manager you can do so with a letter. This letter must be signed by you as the plan holder and must contain:

bullet Your name, address and plan reference
bullet The name of the existing fund and details of the fund(s) you wish to move them into

I prefer to switch online     Fidelity FundsNetwork clients can switch funds online using the Account Management option

I would like to top up one of my investments     If you hold a stocks and shares ISA for the current year but have not invested the maximum sum of £7,000 in a Maxi ISA or £3,000 in a Mini ISA, you may top it up to the maximum. This can be achieved with a letter which must be signed by you, as the plan holder, and contain:

bullet Your name, address and plan reference
bullet The name of the funds you wish to top up and the additional sums you wish to invest in them
bullet A cheque made payable to the Plan Manager and not to Allenbridge

I prefer to top up on online     Fidelity FundsNetwork clients can top up investments online using the Account Management option

I would like to sell (some of) my investments     To sell one or more of your holdings, you must provide a letter signed by you as the plan holder, containing:

bullet Your name, address and account reference
bullet All the holdings you wish to sell
bullet Stating clearly that you wish the money from the sale to be send to you

Please allow at least seven working days for the cheque to arrive

Can I send in one letter about changes affecting more than one fund holding?     You can only send in one letter per Plan Manager.

This is because the original copy of your letter needs to be passed to the Plan Manager. Therefore it is not possible to make changes to plans held with more than one Plan Manager in just one letter. We ask you to bear this in mind and only send one letter for each plan Plan Manager

Who do I address my letter to?     If your funds are held through an investment supermarket (Cofunds or Fidelity FundsNetwork) your letter should be addressed to either supermarket and not to the individual fund manager selling fund through the supermarket.

If you still have some funds outside a supermarket, you can address the letter to the fund manager of these funds direct.
