How
do money laundering rules affect me? |
Nobody
is accusing any of our investors of money laundering. But in an
effort to clamp down on financial crime the United Kingdom
Government has introduced, through the Financial Services
Authority (FSA), stringent new regulations to all investments.
These regulations will require clients investing money to
provide sufficient proof of both their identity and address to
prevent the laundering of money obtained by criminal activity. |
| |
| |
Do
the regulations apply to all fund and/or plan managers I deal with? |
No,
the good news is that Cofunds, Fidelity FundsNetwork and Jupiter
Fund Managers have informed us that they will take care of most
of the money laundering procedures for you. Therefore, if you
invest through any of these supermarkets/fund managers then you
will not have to provide the required documentation up front,
unless requested. |
| |
| |
I
invested through Cofunds or FundsNetwork or Jupiter and I still
have to submit documentation proving who I am - why is this? |
There
are a few possible reasons for this:
you may have changed address
recently |
you may have moved abroad |
your address itself maybe
difficult to verify, e.g. where house names are used |
you may not have a long credit
history or have used little credit in the past |
you may not be on the
electoral roll |
you may never have had bad
credit |
Our current experience is that over 80% of our client
verification checks are successful |

When will Allenbridge have to submit verification documentation
about my investments to plan managers? |
We

managers will not release proceeds without adequate
documentation) |
Move your holdings from one
plan manager to another |
Change your name and/or
address |
| |
| |
What do I need to submit to Allenbridge in form of verification? |
