Trouble logging onto the Allenbridge website
The majority of people will click on one of the icons below to access the internet. They are commonly known as Internet Browsers, each one is slightly different in the way they set up the security and even the way they display the information on the page.

Internet Explorer
There are multiple versions of this popular browser the newest being version 8, it is provided directly by Micorsoft and you can update to the most recent version for free via the Microsoft site or by using Windows Update
To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 6, 7 or 8
- Click the Tools menu. or press Alt-T
- Select Internet Options.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Click the Default button (or manually slide the bar down to 'Medium').
- Click the OK button.
To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 5
Tools > Internet Options > Security, click the Globe, then click Custom Level, find the Cookies title and then choose either enable or prompt.
To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 4
View > Internet Options > Advanced > Security > Cookies and choose either Accept all cookies or Prompt before accepting cookies
Opera
A popular browser created by the company Opera currently upto version 10, used frequently on mobile phones
To enable cookies in Opera 9
- Click the Tools menu. or press Alt-T
- Select Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Select Accept cookies.
- Click the OK button.

Firefox
The second most used browser after Internet Explorer created by Mozilla - very secure, adaptable and easy to personalise
To enable cookies in Firefox 2 or 3
- Click the Tools menu. or press Alt-T
- Select Options.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Select Accept cookies from sites, checkbox.
- Click the OK button.

Safari
Comes as standard with Apple products and is also available for the Windows platform
To enable cookies in Safari 3
- Click the Safari menu. or press Alt-E
- Select Preferences.
- Click the Security tab.
- Select Always in the Accept cookies section.
- Click the OK button.

Googles new browser
To enable cookies in Chrome version 2
- Click the spanner symbol. (in the top right of the screen)
- Select Options.
- Click the 'Under the Hood' tab.
- Select 'Allow all cookies' in the 'Cookie settings' section.
- Click the OK button.
